Spirituality Approaches

Affirmation

Our first task will be to affirm the spiritual work that brought you to this point in life. This may be difficult for some because of pain, confused messages, grief, or feeling lost as a result of the transitions you are presently experiencing. We often don’t witness the courage, guidance, small joys, wisdom, or spiritual assets that have borne us through our lives.

Clarification

Our next task will be to clarify the understandings you have regarding your spiritual history, your theological/world view, and your spiritual goals. Possibly using the Spirituality Survey as a starting point.

Facilitation

The last undertaking will vary immensely per individual and her or his particular requirements at the time. Together we will move you to fulfilling your wishes. These can be as diverse as: finding a supportive community for one or more aspects of your spiritual journey; coaching through some literal goals of personal practice; tutorial sessions on world religions, new age theologies, or deepening understanding of your religious roots; integration of insights from therapy as it pertains to your spiritual path; or as abstract a task as cheering you on as you blaze your bliss and live out your soul’s desire or calling.

If you already have some specific support you desire, we can tailor the above sequence to delete or add steps to the outline.

Fees

For residents of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area and the St. Croix Valley, Wisconsin, my fee for face-to-face spiritual coaching is $48/hour. Phone coaching is $14 per 15 minute increment. I will answer incidental questions through email at no cost. At present I can only take cash and personal checks.
